DescriptionLTC has served as the steel detailer for 7 buildings located on the EPIC Systems campus. The largest of which was a 15,000 ton partially subterranean arena. This project was cloud based, allowing all project team members to access and work on the model simultaneously. These projects incorporated the latest developments in construction with the use of “green” building elements that enhance sustainability and of Building Information Modeling (BIM). This intelligent 3-D modeling was used for coordination of structural steel and HVAC systems. It brought owner, architect, engineers, and builder onto the same page, literally.
